If your application is not successful you will be refunded in full. Please note that it will be a condition of the variation that you:
- clearly and prominently display at your hand car wash the notices provided setting out the dates that you will be closed;
- comply strictly and fully with the closure and re-opening processes that Waves will prescribe;
- make provision for monitoring incoming post, electronic messages and voicemail messages and that you will promptly take any steps required as a result;
- continue to pay Operatives the sums that they may be due under their employment contracts and any other contractual and/or statutory benefits such as holiday pay
Once we receive the signed variation agreement the following process will be followed:
- We will produce site specific artwork for your period of closure to create customer comms notices
- We will send you a pack from Head Office comprising:
- communication poster for the store manager which will include important information about the closure. This will need to be taken into store to the Customer Service desk as soon as you receive it. If you do not receive it within 3 days of you returning the signed variation letter, please contact Waves ASAP
- a temporary closure notice in the form of 2 x A4 posters which will set out the dates that you will be closed. This will need to be displayed as soon as you receive it. If you do not receive it within 3 days of you returning the signed variation letter, please contact Waves ASAP
- You will receive a dated sentinel cover directly to site from our suppliers also setting out important information about the closure. The sentinel cover should be installed on a sentinel positioned within the work area, clearly visible to customers from the evening of the day of closure
- You will receive a link to a SmartSurvey form which must be completed on the evening of your site closure
- We will inform all related online sites and partners of the period of closure including by amending your opening hours on, without limitation, Reputation (incl. Facebook, Google and all other linked directories), the Customer App, the Waves website, Tesco Store Locator, GoWash etc.
Your FSM will be able to support you with the closure and please do direct any queries to them in the first instance
